Another Gamer Limit Blog

Making some serious gold in wow isn’t all that hard, but making gold in wow with minimal effort seemed difficult since none of my professions was maxed out and I didn’t feel like farming for dropped loot.  I needed something with a little more revenue versus effort.  After just a few days of playing around in WoW I used my Death Knight to sit around and watch the auction house.  Prices on my server jumped up and down and people was still buying the stuff.  So I made a plan.  My Death Knight has the mining and blacksmithing professions.  Mining is definitely higher than blacksmithing (mining around 310 and blacksmithing around 160).  I seen that Thorium bars was running low on the AH.  They literally only had one other auction in the auction house for Thorium.  So I decided to throw my Thorium bars on there for 19 gold for one bar and 100 gold for a 20 stack.  Granted my 20 stack sold first then when my 19 gold for one bar was the only ones left on there they all sold.  So for 10 bars i made 190 gold.  I decided to raise the prices.  Currently right now on my server thorium bar (even new auctions from other people) are going anywhere from 140-275 gold for a 20 stack.  With about 10 minutes of mining in the Un’goro Crater yesterday I made well over 1000 gold in the AH.  I just thought i’d post this because I thought it was funny on how easily it is to effect the prices of an item in WoW.  Today i’m going to see what else I can sky rocket the price of, because before my raising of prices on thorium bar you could pick up a 20 stack for anywhere between 30-50 gold.

P.S.

Sorry about all the WoW related posts recently, but as WoW is the only thing i’ve been playing its bout all I can talk about.  Imma try to set a new game in front of me and see how long it takes to play it instead of wow for a change.  Might take a week or so….
