Well its somethign along those lines of not being able to communicate to the DNS. I’ve had this problem ALL day today and I FINALLY figured it out. I use a public wi-fi connection where i’m living at now so I can’t do anything with the router such as updating its firmware. After an entire day of pulling my hair out I disconnected the two link-layer options under tcp v6 and tcp v4 (have to go into wireless connection properties to get there). Now i’m not the smartest when it comes to networks but from what I understand the connection I use doesn’t even use the link-layer options… so why does vista mess up when they’re enabled on public wifi connections? Microsoft is retarded.
